About Sijia

Sijia Hughes is a Broker Associate, real estate investor, and property manager serving Greenville and the Upstate of South Carolina. Known for her professionalism, strategic mindset, and client-centered approach, she is passionate about helping individuals and families make confident real estate decisions while building long-term wealth through real estate.

 

Originally from Dalian, China, Sijia’s global journey—from living in Budapest and Innsbruck to establishing her life and career in Greenville—has shaped her unique perspective and ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds. As a first-generation immigrant, she understands the value of hard work, perseverance, and creating opportunities where none previously existed.

 

Holding an MBA, Magna Cum Laude, from Clemson University, Sijia combines corporate experience with real-world investment expertise. As an active real estate investor and landlord since 2016, she has personally acquired and managed investment properties, giving her firsthand insight into property ownership, investment strategy, and asset management. This experience allows her to advise clients not only as a real estate professional, but also as someone who has personally navigated the opportunities and challenges of real estate investing.

 

Beyond her expertise, Sijia is known as a trusted advisor who approaches every relationship with integrity, transparency, honesty, and loyalty. Her clients often rely on her for far more than buying or selling a property. On multiple occasions, she has been entrusted to serve as Attorney-in-Fact under a Power of Attorney for clients living overseas, managing complex real estate matters on their behalf. She considers this level of trust one of the greatest honors of her career and a reflection of the relationships she builds with those she serves.

 

Naturally curious and driven by a lifelong love of learning, Sijia enjoys meeting new people, exploring new ideas, and finding solutions to complex challenges. She is often drawn to situations others may avoid, embracing difficult transactions and unique circumstances with creativity, persistence, and a problem-solving mindset. She believes that doing the right thing is always the right decision, even when it comes at a personal cost, and that trust is earned through actions rather than words.
